So last weekend we hade a great time in Island Park and Yellowstone. The trip was very short but very fun. Jullee, Cory and Zoe came with us. My Aunt Chris was so awesome to let us stay there and feed us for free. She made the best meals. So this whole trip cost less then $150, AWESOME!!! Owen was so good on the 5 hour drive up to Island Park. I was so worried about him because he has never been in the car that long before but he was so good. Zoe was also good. After lunch we headed to Mesa falls, which is so beautiful. It was later in the day so hardly anyone was there. Saturday we went to Yellowstone, I wish we could have spent more time in there. First we had some lunch then headed to a spot called the paint pots, it is so cool. Different sulfa and water type things are coming out of the ground leaving it different colors. The only bad thing is sulfa stinks.

Then we got to Old Faithful, bad thing was it had just erupted so we had to wait another 1 1/2 hours for it to go off again. It was worth the wait, Old Faithful is Awesome. Then we decided to walk around the paths at Old Faithful, something I had never done before. It was so cool, there is tons to see behind it. Then on the way back we finally saw some wildlife. We say a buffalo in the road, they later on some mule deer. So that was great also, it would have sucked to go to yellowstone and not see any wildlife.

We had a great trip, Erich had surgery the day before we were leaving. I was worried about him not feeling good. But he did great even though he was sore from surgery. Poor thing has to back again in a couple of weeks. This will be his 4th surgery this year.
